Justin is a great kid. I hope he is an up and coming driver in Ohio. Give him a chance Ohio, all he needs is a little stock to drive.

Always enjoyed watching him race at Northville. He always gave his horses a chance.

Justin is a great kid and has one of the best teacher to ever put a helmet on. Time will tell if he will get some quaking sure stake drives.

Glad people are giving him more drives. It limits the calls on the good drivers.

He’s dating Jessica Otton. Maybe she’s giving him the good juice?

Isn't she at the Meadowlands?

Watched Justin ride some Stakes races at the meadows last week and became a believer. Very good on the 5/8 track an I thing he may want to consider driving more often there.

Northfield can be a bad influence if you don't play ball there. Keep up the good work Justin.

So Aaron's amazing hands somehow came from lanny. Now according to that equation Justin should.be the future king coming from arguably one of the sports finest. And in my mind Don jr is the most talented driver there has ever been.

Since she’s at the big m and he is near northfield, where do they meet on limited time available??  Horsemen generally drive, not fly!!

Kid can drive.   Leave the worn out Otten girl alone and focus on your career.  Big future if he keeps thinking with the right head.

The sister is the worn out Otten, not Justin's girlfriend.

What a woke suspension. He was being human. His horse was a loser at the time he tossed the whip. No harm to the result, horses or anyone else. For me is showed frustration with a horse that was not responding and it was a spur of the moment decision. Showed me a desire to win

Bello, your point is reasonable, but it’s still bad optics. He could have waited till the finish line. I am sure it didn’t change the outcome, but still…

I hear you. I had his horse in that race and it was a lazy horse. Justin did his best trying to motivate him. I felt his frustration when he realized there was no more he could do to get him to move forward. Agree, no excuse for the behavior, but a pretty big fine for a harmless infraction.

Does anyone remember how much Pierce got fined for waving at Smedshammer as he passed him in the race off of the Kentucky Filly Futurity?

Agree.  Find the best people in the business, not the most fun, and find a few people outside the business to give perspective, and he will have an amazing career.

To answer my own question, I just learned from a friend of Pierce, that the judges reprimanded Pierce but did not fine nor suspend him.

Billy Davis Jr listed to drive Boss Baby Saturday, should be interesting. But with the slow half she got last time, no wonder Irvine got frustrated.
