Who y'all like today?
« on: April 15, 2023, 03:07:25 PM »
The last Kentucky Derby prep points race today is the Lexington, Keenland 9th.  Seems like the only horse TODAY where it is do or die to get a start launch into the Kentucky Derby is Disarm, the #6.  He's currently sitting in 26th place with 40 points.  A first (20 points), second (8 points), or third (6 points) gets him in!

However, LOL, I like the 8, Empirestrikesfast .  Ok bred, but they paid for this one.  Waited late to release, broke maiden in first race, totally overlooked at long odds in short field, and the 3 yo monster impressively fought back - BIG win.  Trainer Mott does well with with Maiden win last race %.  Built like a brick sh!thouse lol.  Hope this gelding gets overlooked again being 4-1 ml, and the circumstances of the race being the cause, and lots of runners.  Good luck today!   tmbz1

Well Disarm, the #6 made it into the Derby, so that was good awareness, but with his lackluster 3rd place finish.  Not even the favorite and he had the most show money, makes sense though.  $2.96 back on every $2.00 to show, and not my betting type cup of tea.

The #8 total bust, first off, while Dettori could retire today for all I care, regardless, the horse looked awful coming to the gate.  Drooling like he sucked off everyone at the track before he went to sleep during the race.  Did I cancel my wagers, hell no, I went full circle with this ticket ripping flop, before he bent me over!   ;D
