2024 general election...in NY...I told the poll worker who I was and she asked me to to sign in...The signatures didn't match...I offered my drivers license and was told they couldn't accept that as proof of identity.

Been voting by mail the past 5 or 6 years.

Early voted in NY. No id required. Just have to sign in and they match your signature with the one I filled in 50 years ago. Person next to me broke out their license and quickly was told to put it away.
