In the case of every horse I have claimed (a few), and every horse claimed from me (several) the successful claimant has  met the horse coming of the track and never let the horse out of eye sight.
No horse switch ever possible.

When and how exactly do you switch out this hot sweaty horse for the one that has been standing in a bath stall the last few hours?
How do you get the bath stall horse to the test barn and make him look like he just raced?
