BREAKING: Trump State Department staffer Britt McHenry was reportedly PROMOTED and then FORCED TO RESIGN within 24 hours after being caught on video throwing a drink at an NBA fan.
According to Page Six, McHenry received a promotion Wednesday to lead External Affairs & Press for a senior State Department official. That very night, she got into a heated confrontation at a Washington Wizards game, threw a drink at a spectator, and was escorted out of the arena as fans booed.
By Thursday, she was out of a job.
“She was promoted and fired within 24 hours,” a source told Page Six.
And this isn't her first workplace controversy. In 2015, ESPN suspended McHenry after video surfaced of her berating a towing company employee, mocking the woman's education, intelligence, and appearance.
The State Department declined to comment on internal personnel matters.
One of the shortest-lived promotions in Trump regime history.
