Fact, most horses you've seen race end up in the pipeline. Especially if they're geldings. Nobody will bullshit us that they're "rescued and rehab'd". They actually brag about how many they have to rescue, proof of how many HAVE TO ACTUALLY BE RESCUED.... The industry LOVES them while they make money, after that it's sell them by the pound. What do you suggest be done with them?

They're not pets. 

You can slaughter a horse in the U.S. but federal law prohibits inspection of horse slaughter facilities. And if you can't inspect the meat, you can't sell it. So there are no U.S. slaughter houses.

Something like 3,000-5,000 horses are foaled in NY State each year.
But it's illegal to ship the ones that have no serviceable use to slaughter?

Trash law.
