The Road to Oblivion

The Democratic Party’s collapse is no longer hypothetical; it is happening in real time. To recover, the party would need to undertake a radical transformation: abandoning its failing elites, focusing on issues that matter to ordinary Americans, and rejecting the divisive identity politics and empty gestures that have alienated its base.

But the Democrats show no inclination to change. Instead, they seem poised to double down on the same failed strategies that have left them humiliated and out of power. Unless they chart a new course - and quickly - they risk fading into irrelevance, remembered not for what they achieved, but for what they squandered.

For a party that once claimed to represent the working class, this is a tragedy of its own making. And in politics, as in life, such failures have consequences. For the Democrats, those consequences have arrived.
