I know the average is a distorted number and not exactly reflective of the market as a whole, but even aside from trotters and the very high end driving the results-----a few bucks less than $200k average is a crazy number!

It is indeed thriving

Columbus, OH – During the third quarter, from July 1 through Sept. 30, total wagering across the United States increased by 3.38%, following the second quarter when handle was up by 2.38% compared to last year in 2025. This year, $374,280,401 was wagered during the third quarter compared to $362,053,310 a year ago. That increase was despite decreases in race days and the number of pari-mutuel races compared to the third quarter of last year.

Wherever the picture of grim reaper went. (I seen it posted here yesterday) You should know those tattoos where done by a girl named Ashley that’s
involved in a ‘Racing under saddle’ circuit out of Mississippi, no one in harness racing has anything to do with his new name being tattood on him, the women who ‘rescued’ him from them would not give me any info on these people 🤷‍♀️
