Presidential libraries usually wait until the man is out of office. This one couldn't.
Starting next Tuesday, a Freightliner carrying every one of the 3.5 million Epstein pages the Justice Department has released will park itself in Dallas while Republicans gather to cheer the guy whose name is painted on the side.
Then it heads for Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa and Florida — two dozen stops in battleground states between now and Election Day.
The exhibit began in May as a pop-up in Tribeca, built by the Institute for Primary Facts, a nonprofit that printed the files, bound them into 3,437 volumes and let people walk the stacks.
Organizer David Garrett's theory is simple: 17,000 pounds of paper is hard to wave off as a hoax.
In July the collection rolled up to Capitol Hill while the Senate was confirming Todd Blanche, Trump's former defense lawyer, as attorney general.
The truck itself was funded by DEFIANCE.org, co-founded by Miles Taylor, the former Trump DHS official — so yes, this was bankrolled by a man who used to work for him.
Bear in mind, those pages are public only because Congress had to pass a law to pry them loose.
And Blanche, who now runs the DOJ, sat down with survivors before his confirmation, said he'd like to deliver prosecutions, and promised nothing.
Survivor Dani Bensky, who backs the tour, put it in six words: "We deserve a system that works."
Horseplop isn’t a popularity contest!!
