Gural and Howard will resolve their differences.

Howard will give SCM all he can eat.

But SCM is busted out and Howard will have mercy.

You really think Taylor and Gural will resolve their issues? Last I heard/read, Taylor was licensed in PA. Is he licensed anywhere else? Even if he gets past the NJRC, seriously, do you really think Gural is going to allow him to race under the present circumstances?

I do. Circumstances change.

Taylor's explanation is a good one .. he just paid the bills. How does he know what BB3 is?

And does it really matter whose name goes down as owner?

No doubt the situation is fluid, so without question the circumstances will change. But for the better (for Taylor)? Perhaps I am being optimistic, to the extreme of being naive about this issue-----but I just feel like the hole Taylor has ended up in has just gotten so deep that it might get harder and harder to dig himself out. Personally, I don't think Taylor's explanation is a good one. I think it's a foolish one. I think it's so foolish that it can make matters worse. It's offensive to be pitched that he was a passive, hands-off, not involved, I show up to get my picture taken, kind of owner. Everything proves the contrary.

Its true and factual-that many of the horses that Howard Taylor owned -trainers of his were using the PEDs from Fishman-notably HOF Ron Burke--BB3-listed on horses he trained-even listed which PED each horses was getting-so if you banish one trainer for using these PEDs -then it should be across the board-remember-no one in USA is above the Law.

As far as Engblom-i believe he was innocent.  The three substances detected in Mon Amour were Oxycodone (a powerful prescription opioid painkiller), Carisoprodol (a prescription muscle relaxant), and Meprobamate (the metabolic byproduct of Carisoprodol). These are common Human prescription drugs-even a human taking these touching a horse can produce these low levels in this day and age--and to top it off the levels were so low a forensic scientist-testified it had no effect on the outcome-4.9pcg.These levels were so low that in PA even HISA threw them out because they are environmental contamination. However NJ wanted a scalp-so Engblom was the scapegoat. Gural heard all the evidence and agreed with the testimony of experts-so he gave Engblom a pass.
I must of missed this. Which Burke horses were given BB3? Gural needs to toss Burke if there is evidence of this.

You were getting absolutely no attention from Howard. Then you went over the line to get attention from him,, now you've got problem all created from your narcissistic personality.

I have never met or had lunch with anyone involved here but IMO Mike has nothing to worry about at all, he has done nothing wrong. Most of us support 100 percent what he is doing regarding the welfare of horses and everyone that loves animals, in this case standardbreds here you would think, would feel the same way.

I cede all the ground you wish. Yours is the better version of things here but that said, this is U.S. harness racing where the business model is to fail as slowly as possible. There is a very small group of people who are making money in the sport. Gural and Taylor are in that group.

I have seen a list of Taylor's owned horses and there's dozens where he is a minority owner. Do we hold him culpable for those as well as his 100% owned horses?  How do you split that hair.

In any event, I certainly didn't intend to offend if I did and have no pitch to offer.
