The Meadows

I thought The Meadows did a fantastic job hosting The Adios. The crowd was impressive, the broadcast was professional and the actual race was great. I could see The Meadows being awarded future Breeders Crown races there.

Wtf were u watching? The people on the broadcast acted like children. They could of spent way more time showing the horses and talking about them.

Decent crown for 2026 but nothing like the old days.  Compare that to the the Sun Stakes at Pocono when you could throw a hand grenade in any direction an not injure anyone. It is Burke's home track so all the Burke's are there.

The Meadows had the first two year old open pace Breeders Crown. Still the greatest Breeders Crown race ever.

Notice the crowd at the end.

They will never put up the money to hold the Breeders Crown now.

Intentions were good, and presentation fine, but unfortunately Sat aft Meadows card was top heavy first 13 events (except for three) with guessable $20,000 and $30,000 young events. Great for owners and horsemen. Did little for Sat aft bettors.

Happy the last three feature events delivered..though some 5 hours into card.
#6 Zeron 11-1 digging in for deserved fifth in the Adios, on the bottom of the Hi5, made afternoon finally worthwhile for this player. Thanks.
