I would of never believed it. Walter Case jr driving at Plainridge? Thought Massachusetts would never let him in? Has 2 drives.

He drove there last year for the first few months of the meet with limited success before disappearing.

He had 124 drives with 12 wins, 10 seconds, and 13 thirds with purse earnings of $160,000.

Everybody is a great guy to you. How many great guys go around stabbing their wives?
As for Case the driver, he's a shadow of his old self and can't even compete in Maine.

I knew Kathy his wife who he stabbed,, Walter drove a lot of horses for me and was always a gentleman. Things happen people work on themselves and become better but you probably wouldn't know that.   Why don't you tell us your qualifications and how many races you have won?

I met Walter at Yonkers when he was winning races in bunches. Then the horrific crime he committed. Then we met again on his return to Maine racing at the now defunct Scarborough Downs. He looked much older as life seemed to take it's toll on him. Maine racing officials heard from many who supported his return to racing here. He wasn't terrible at driving. But with purses so bad here, I guess he eeked out a living here. With Massachusetts approving him to drive last year, he did ok. Nothing great. Maybe enough to make a living. I always felt that if he never did what he did, he'd be a sure thing for the HOF. And maybe go down as one of the best on a 1/2 mile track. A tragic stupid mistake. Ruined a great career. Wasted talent.
