Odds On Mr. Mamba is a tiny horse that's fast.

Needed the whip to get some of the rust off and keep alert and looked great

BJ is a giant horse that's faster.

BJ in a couple of more races will be doing sub 148 miles with ease.

He's building slowly with that team but effectively.

Now being I follow the racing at both, handicapping and wager (good or bad  , bad then  ) is irrelevant because Hoosier runs a tic or two faster than Mohawk, their shippers almost never replicate.

How about an alternate instead of $5K, the first time they race, the loser of this "wager" has to change their plop screen name to "Ass Clown" for one year

And $200 loser fee to be Zelled to the winner after that race goes official!   

And an out, if the losing horse eventually beats the winning horse anytime after, the screen name can revert back immediately!

I don't agree with you much, but your take on Bobblehead Bob is spot on.  He is as crooked as they come and will eventually get BJ beat!  I hope there is a horse out there to give him some kind of rivalry.  Good for the game!

the best we can hope for is that they hook up 3-4 times this year and have some epic battles
i agree harness racer , the sport needs it
casual fans or non fans love a hero but there has to be someone to push them
niatross, secretariat, yankees, dodgers, celtics etc, fans love dynasty and stars but someone has to be the foil
think ali and frazier etc

the bigger question is if this rivalry takes place who in the harness racing establishment is smart enough to know how to capitalize on it and make it a main stream story
