Nice Trigger. You stuck with him. We loved him last start, Hung. Quite a race.
As they were parading, I got a hunch that one of those added entries was gonna hit the board.
Watching the replay as I type. He came from WAAAYYY down town.

Some small saver bets that I needed lol, DB got creamed by the 8 then wiped out the inside, that takes a lot out that kind of winding.

Hand it to Renegade for coming back, took some beating I think too.

Renegade almost went over the rail, wasn't just bumped but wiped the fuck out in the first 5 seconds, stretch too like you said, he's the best horse or one of them for sure.  A gorilla

Just watched the replay a couple times. Renegade got pinballed a ton at the start. Golden Tempo wasn't even in the picture on the backstretch lol. Damon Bourbon raced huge. Looked like a winner after 8f. Emerging Market.. no excuses had a good trip. Incredibolt raced well and was coming from the back but got squeezed in the stretch. Wouldn't have won, but might have gotten a piece. Chief Wallabee ran a huge race to. Trouble in the first turn, no room top of the stretch and once he got clear he got clobbered and still finished 4th

This comment is not going to go over well, but the derby would be great in 2 heats, than narrow it down to 8-10 horses a couple weeks latter. 

It's ridiculous, dangerous, and a clean run and ready horse may not be the best horse on any give day but damn straight the likely winner!

Just leaving the casino after not a "whiff" of getting close in todays card at Churchill Downs. I won about $375 playing cards today, but I wish I would have hit at least one race. LOL! I hope all the POLPSTERS who joined me on this thread had a much better day betting the races than I did. Well, tonight i'll see if there's any chances to make some money on tomorrows race. Looks like the 1 time bettors who picked their children's/grandchildren's ages/their DOB'S/addresses, etc. cashed in at the expense of the professional gamblers!

What does all the betting do for the derby and horse racing?  These people only bet the derby and have no other interest in the sport!

A lot of pomp and circumstance from being there to the betting aspect and everything in-between except for the breeders, owners, trainers, grooms, hot walkers, and anyone else actively involved in the race. 

One of the owners I work for promised me a trip to the derby.  Hopefully I can have this come to fruition!

You had alot of 4th's Dougie. Not horrible for me only lost a couple hundred. Had a $ 9000 will pay on a pick 5, but it wasn't meant to be.
