He's very fan friendly.  The staff at the restaurant said go up to him and say hello and I did when I was at Tioga on EBC day in August 2025.  He is very astute and knows what is going on in the business.  He actually asked me a question upon saying hello to meet him and caught me off guard!  At least he cares about the business, unlike the other entities who own racetracks.

Told me straight out he's tired of paying out of pocket to support indoctrinated welfare recipients. His words. That why he didn't want to pay the 200k for the Breeder's Crown dates in 2021 that led to him involved in the Skolnick/SBOANJ that was quietly settled a few months ago. And for the most part horsemen attack him over his methods and accuse him of only caring about profiting. Isn't that the idea? He has a long way before he's ever back in the black recouping the money he has spent.
