Some of the most informative and intelligent posters on here are anonymous while many, like you and tripper, are neither. And thanks but no thanks for the invite to your socials, I'm happy to keep my thoughts on this platform. And there you go again tooting your own horn. But it's a free country and if that is the approach you'd like to take, then so be it. I just thought you were a little bit more measured than that. that's all---carry on Michael.
One of the things i find amazing is that people in this group want to denigrate someone for trying to help abused and displaced animals no longer cared about by the harness racing industry. It's obviously a real issue that needs addressing in a practical way. I think Mike's approach of pointing out the abuse is a great thing. If you showed the photos that Mike has posted to the average "non-horse" fans out there, they would be surely repulsed by what they saw. Those "civilians" know little about horse racing. But people like us who spent some time in harness racing should truly despise the treatment of these horses. I happen to like Mike P. I admire what he's trying to do. The bigger question is.....how can you not admire someone trying to expose the abuse? It boggles the mind.

You are one of the more sane and rational people to post on here. I sometimes do not have your same opinions though i respect you for them.
I admire the intent, just not particularly a fan of the approach. Mike has gone from a whistleblower of sorts, rightfully calling out rephrehisible horsemen for injecting horses with incredibly dangerous drugs to doing podcast with idiots. Please don't conflate the two.

When it comes to Mike P. and him advocating for the welfare of horses, I can't see any reason for not applauding the effort. Mike P. has always been respectful to me in his explanation of what he does. I have been following his page and read the so many positive comments concerning his advocacy.
Mike's message: The Truth Hours of unnecessary chatter with vermin Let it at least serve to sterilize the next batch that don't get fully exterminated
Mike's message: context doesn't matter, I'm coming for youTripper's message: I don't have one, just bored and I have no life.
He meant to say HE has NOT been credited with ever actually OWNING one damn horse!!! Total....Fucking. ......Loser.
