Interesting interview
« on: Today at 10:23:41 AM »
I watched the interview Katie Couric had with Gov. Gavin Newsom. Now she'd being mocked and ridiculed by both parties for asking him if he is to "good looking". While people might mock and criticize her, I think it's a legitimate question. Didn't Americans swoon over JFK and treat him like a rock star wherever he went? I always thought that voters, especially young ones will learn toward a younger, more vibrant, and good looking candidate. That's why I think that he has a edge over any old and tired "re-threads" his party might offer up.

Only retards watch that kind of show where they ask such superficial questions.  ngc3

Oh, you watch the show  ngc3

Do you give a shit what your doctors
specialists
surgeons
police

emt
military...

look like, because your life is in their hands too...  ngc3

Basically, Couric is trying to convey we are a superficial bunch where ability takes a back street to looks and charisma - she's not so wrong, but that ain't me, just her stupid asshole listeners and most the voters in all parties.  ;D

I agree. But I think that he will get many votes due to his looks.

LOL! I actually have been looking over today's chances to make a score. I finally got "in the money" in a poker tournament last night. Ran 3rd. Not much. Just $400. But i'll invest it on todays races.

The buy in was $40 with a chance to re-buy once. And a $20 voucher toward your dinner. When I get to South Florida, I'd love to get into a bigger game at the Hard Rock.

Get 8-9 ploppers down here and a $2k buy in cash game...that place is rife with cheaters, cheating groups, crooked dealers...
