"Monticello, NY – Starting on March 2, purses at Monticello Raceway will be raised 10 percent.

Open events will now race for $8,200. The increase will be reflected on the condition sheet beginning Feb. 23."

To this day Monti drivers struggle to get a mortgage, you got to drive and train and own and win a lot course  ngc3

Yesterday on a 10-race card the total purses were $42,300, an average of $4230 per race. Even with a 10% increase it's only $4653. The leading driver there in 2025 was Mike Merton, his purse earnings were 1.2 million, which means he made $60,000, hardly thriving. The majority of horsemen who race at Monticello lose money every year but in Pacer2's fantasy world, they're thriving too.

What you conveniently and purposely fail to mention is Mike Merton races at other tracks(Tioga) and also makes tips as well has ownership in a few horses. He makes over $130,000/yr and will now be getting more....DUMBASS!

I was referring to the people who own horses that race strictly at Monticello all year and average 30 or more starts, the majority of them are losing money like the people who used to race at Freehold DUMBASS. You think the drivers are getting tips at Monticello, if they do, it doesn't amount to much just like your IQ.

Why do you even bother arguing with Pacer2, he's nothing but a clueless idiot living in a world of fantasy.
