You have quite an imagination!  Your theory was proven wrong by a number of posters who saw a big bet go in BEFORE THE BELL!!   You're pretty much ALWAYS WRONG!    ngc3 ngc3 ngc3

He  really is no factor and im sure he knows it,   All racetracks pay people to watch the pools and payoffs is everyone they are paying to protect us just stupid or involved in corruption,   i read this guy saying that fair tracks will still be around years from now but no racetracks and that is not possible to get trainers and vets plus shoeing and feed people to lower their prices next to zero because no one will pay a 4k training bill to run foe peanuts and most horse people do not see this as a problem but when ELITE goes away and they will the government will see racing as not viable and then horsemen will panic and start singing the truths. If we had a strong media that was not scared this problem had a chance but that will not happen and when its to late that media will then start telling the truth.

Tmgreg needs to come back and keep this going because there might never be a post as big as this topic again and i know that most do not talk racing on this site and most have no clue this is a big issue but its number one,     HISA is real bad for the game right now because they are taking away from the real problems killing racing and they could lock up the every drug cheat in North America and none of the huge gamblers are going back and people like imgreg now need to run the industry and find a media that will talk about anything like football when a guy test possitive they tell the world that sunday and not protect him.  If 5 years from now its the Paulic report and the same group running the game it will be over and a group like HISA who do not gamble be in charge of cleaning it up,     Also to any old time horsemen reading this post the names from the past will go away and you could of done something about it.

Appreciate all the comments from everyone, hopefully the conversations will continue amongst those still involved in racing for one last attempt to resuscitate the sport. Best of luck!

Yonkers you are correct with drugs being a huge issue and no one seems to give a crap but go to the big years at the big m and you will see a GELROD and ROBiNSON duo that crushed all the big money races and banca and others like him were around but the was a huge flow and drug horses do dominate on speed tracks and to its speed tracks with small prices and soft racing and that produces small  payoffs and then you have computer  bettors who seem to grab all the money,    People still bet huge money with all the drug cheats and it was no worse than today.   Breeders and horsemen the drug cheat love speed racing and track records,         All legit players are almost gone and a topic like this makes no sense to 95 percent here but its the most important topic any site can ever have and will be the end of horse racing,   This guy is very sharp for a young guy and i do not see him sticking around.  i really thought guys were just having fun but still knew the game but i was 10000 wrong from what i read and i am going to let stupid be stupid and play hudini.
