the horse took no place or show money to speak of and the exotics were the same

#4--who was the 1/2 fave for Linda Rice who figured to jog before the wager went in--jogged as expected and paid $10

very strange to see that at Aqueduct

OZONE PARK, N.Y. - The odds on horses in Thursday’s first race at Aqueduct were skewed when a large win wager came in on Patience N  Grace, a horse listed at 5-1 on the morning-line who went off at odds of 3-10 and finished fourth.

According to the New York Racing Association, a computer-assisted wagering player made $206,700 in win wagers within the final three minutes of the first race, a maiden event for fillies and mares. The player bet $182,442 on the No. 2, Patience N Grace; $23,556 on No. 5, Three Nines Fine, who finished sixth; and $702 on No. 6, Bustling Town, who finished seventh.

NYRA does not allow CAW players to cancel wagers after they are placed.

The race was won by Undergrad, who was 6-5 on the morning line, but who went off at 4-1 and returned $10.32 to win. The runner-up, Tahila, was sent off at odds of 111-1.

On Thursday, NYRA implemented restrictions on CAW activity, requiring their activity to cease at one minute to post in all pools not previously subject to high-speed wagering restrictions. However, it was back in 2021 that NYRA implemented restrictions for CAW players in the win pool, not allowing access to that pool with two minutes to post.

Take a look at Aqueduct Feb 11th. The Pick-3 for races 7-8-9.

The Pick 3 pools that day averaged about $25,000.

The pool for the Pick 3 ending in Race 9 was $715,000.

That's 27x the average.

happens all the time

apparently the charts show the pool amount at the end of the sequence as opposed to the start--in that case there is a good chance that pool was 27x the standard size without a typo
