They are going to try to race one or two cards to get next year’s recapture then file bankruptcy, so everyone make sure you enter next week so Carey’s get their money. They count on the horsemen to be broke and stupid, it has worked well for them for years

I feel for the horsemen. A bad track owner, with major financial problems, and a questionable track record, etc.-----should be shut down and have his license pulled. Period. Let him sit with a facility and no racing. He obviously has no money to do anything. He's been looking for a "partner" for a long time. Apparently, nobody wants to be his partner. Good riddance.
