Thoroughbred Racing is NOT a 3rd World Plop Country
« on: December 30, 2025, 03:42:30 AM »
It's been sitting third behind Political Roundtable (PR).

I'm not some numbers OCD person.

In T-BREDS I will spend a good portion of my time, whether alone or with those that frequent.  Some great times in the live action and commentary in 25'.

Where I will spend most of 26', 95%+ and respectfully and organically like to see it roll past PR for 2nd and maintain in the forum.

I talked about my budget and racing selection strategy for 26'...$25k, 25-50 races / situations, building and maintaining a continual interactive stable of talent, and greatly improve my wagering strategies if I'm getting winners i.e. MAX capitalization and lastly not chasing big races w/ pools but will be only wagering into them in harness and t-breds.

Hong Kong has CAW, screw it, cancelled.

One last thing, if I bet a race, and post like I always do before, I'm not betting anything that I will not predict the entire race call before too in writing and finish and final time.

Will be a lot of fun, and I'm predicting a very profitable 2026, hope to see y'all there as well - starting in 2 days!   ;D

I’ve switched over to about 99% T-Bred, I sometimes bet on a Monticello trainer I know. Buggy racing be damned

There will never be a place as great as the Plop Harness forum, ever.

As big an asshole I can be, I'll defend every posting member as passionate as a first responder of racing commentary and other shit that can be...collectively we're nuts  ngc3

I'll never miss it either, I will read every post.

I'm diving very deep this year into T-breds, and Harness too.  Talent is talent.

12 hours a day.  The rest is work, life and sleep.

Posting the race call and final time and finish before the race is cool, it being accurate and cashing is cooler!

From the Thoroughbred Forum!   8)

I think the only places where there is no CAW is Japan and South Korea.

I don't know takeout or pool info but field sizes are very good.

Oaklawn: Oaklawn was a historical holdout against CAW but has recently allowed it. While the exact private rebate percentages for Oaklawn's CAW players are not publicly disclosed, they function similarly to those at other tracks, designed to incentivize high handle and increase track revenue. Oaklawn does offer a publicly advertised "Show Bet Bonus" with a reduced takeout for on-track customers, but this is a separate program from the private CAW deals.

I stand corrected---they are at Oaklawn

Not sure about SK.

The JRA says no CAW in their Japanese T-bred racing mutual pools tmbz1, fields of an avg of 17 horses and the Japanese t-bred handles are twice those of the US t-bred and harness handle combined.

Sure Calhoun, thank you, I will have the Sake too with my meal!   ngc3

I KNOW for sure that RGS does not take OAKLAWN and any place that  elite is involved with does not take OAKLAWN because they are not allowed into the computer system at OAKLAWN PARK also OAKLAWN has a way smaller rebate than any other place

Korea only in the last few years has allowed horse racing gambling at their racetrack but for the longest time they were exactly like DUBAI as people were betting it in England and AUSTRAILIA but not in Korea also in KOREA all forms of gambling are not legal but i know a guy named MIKE KIM who now runs the biggest casino in the PHILIPPINES but a few years ago he opened up a casino were only Americans were playing but it only lasted about two years.
