It was a bigger honor for him. Who was the mutual friend, Sakit? Did Gural run out on paying the check?

This is a travesty of epic proportions.

Gural says no Per in 2026 unless reversed. I guess we can’t trust Gurals word anymore, I’ve lost all respect for him, a man that can’t keep his word is

Maybe you should start asking Gural to resign too.

More simple then we know.

Make a chronological list of major occurrences of actual regulatory, and lawful failures at the Big M during his time.

Add the habitual problems with trainers and their revolving door there.

Drug and performing enhancing users and dealers.

and CAW.

Overall compromised integrity.

Show a down angle graph, handle, purses...that the government in part is NOW subsidizing the product that obviously no reasonable gambler is doing in full.  The threat to send a flagship, historic race in the Hambo packing.

Now take that grievance and share it with the state of NJ (all major state media) and the legislature that decides on his Casino.

Give him his casino only if he clears that attached list to his demand after one year of no major issue recurrences.

Gural doesnt care what anyone thinks about him.
Look at his history with the bongiorno family of trainers.
Gural will do whatever he wants and if you dont like it, too bad.

He is very hypocritical when it comes to certain things.  I know SCM has avenues of communication with him.  Would love to see him ask about Per having entries after 12/31 with nothing resolved.  What a joke!

The NJ Casino commission and control boards may not be too open to welcoming their largest casino operator who clearly feels he is above everything and will do what he wants

That’s unbelievable!  Gural, you are a lying, two-faced piece of shit.  I wish horsemen would grow a spine and boycott the box so you can field a card one weekend.  Mr. Integrity my ass.  You are no different and are 100 % looking out for you, not the horsemen.  🖕

Almost forgot, thanks for the update Mike.  You coming back anytime soon?  Place is less entertaining without your mix of information, condescension, and shenanigans.   tmbz1

  • dougie: IIB, I think the mayor will sign the bill if it reaches his desk. The optics on this issue is bad for the horse carriage industry. Animal activists are adept to using the media to enlist horror and anger by the public.

  • Ignorance Is Bliss: It's now a bill with city council. Public hearings will be scheduled then the council votes on it. If passed it's sent to the Mayor to sign into law. He has already said he's in. Marte just took over, Bob Holden is the actual author of the bill who retired last year.

  • dougie: IIB, I have been reading some of the work Councilman Marte has been doing on this issue. I think he might be successful with passing the 'Ryders Law" Bill this time around. The image of the horse dead on the street has even been seen here everywhere. If the animal activists can get this on the ballot, who knows how the vote will go.
