The Natural is my favorite, with
A League Of Their Own,
Seabiscuit and Phar Lap next.

Seabiscuit and Phar Lap are in my top 10 for sure. Gary Stevens has got to be one of the most underrated and natural actors I ever saw and Phar Lap was one of the saddest movies I ever saw.

If you want to see a great horse racing movie then take a look at Dreamer with Kurt Russell.

The greatest horse racing movie ever made was EASY MONEY, starring Rodney Dangerfield, and Joe Pesci.  Pesci jumping over the fence, yanking Bill Popfinger ( I believe ) off the bike, and trying to beat the crap out of him, was the most realistic glimpse of harness racing, ever. Drivers no longer have to fear of this, as nobody goes to the track anymore.

    Sincerely, Silent One

Phar Lap was one of the saddest movies I ever saw.

Only thing sadder was that the story was real....
