You must be joking  ngc3

The guys that try and can't win  ngc3

If they can win at will, they cheat.

Go on NYRA Bets, pick a harness track, click on drivers and it will give you a drop down of their ROI for all different type stuff - pacer, trotter, as fav, as 5-1+, with trainer, with horse, lot's of stuff.

Just pick a track on the left hand column in "today's racing".  You don't need to have an account or login - you'll love it!

Most of the drivers give an honest effort 95% of the time. Thats how they make their money.

The 95% number is probably pretty close, however, 80% of drivers lack many skills, both physical and certainly mental, you may expect from a driver, making the number appear much lower.  They are bred into the business with few alternatives and once in, there is no new blood waiting to take their place should they fail.  As a result, you have a very shallow pool of talent, and almost no improvement.  Arguably the biggest failing of harness racing.
