Taylor has employed all the cheating trainers. He is opinionated. I don't think he's the type to pay large bills and not know what for. He probably feels like a scapegoat. Nothing happened to Faraldo (Banca) and Ford (Gillis). Two heads of horseman groups & part of the USTA. I hope they don't cave and Taylor is banded.
1. His deceased wife handled the bills.
2. He doesn't care if he's the listed owner... has 1/2 dozen handshake agreements ... does not care about money ..he'll still be in the pictures.
3. He can delay any crim action forever... no risk there...
He's got next to zero to worry bout.

Look, I couldn't care less how successful someone is in or outside this business. I don't care who paid the bills, him, his wife, a bookkeeper, whatever. Call it what you want, causation, responsibility, accountability, I couldn't care less. You or someone under/within your purview ordered it. That's you. Your monies paid for it. That's you. I don't know if he received it, and I do think that's a very important issue-----and, no, if he didn't, that does not mean he's not culpable, because IMO he still is. You had awareness and knowledge. That's you. Your trainers got it, somehow, and used it. That's you as well.

I didn't see texts or recorded conversations like they had with Navarro and Servis, but in this case it's owner, not a trainer. Owner responsibility and accountability is long overdue. I've long had concerns about punishing owners because of the trainer they select, but this I have zero concerns with. I also think other names on those lists are not simply skating away from this. Maybe today. Not forever though.

I don't think you'll ever see owner accountability.

40 years ago there were four constituencies. Track/State/Horsemen/Bettors.

Now there are 2 ... Large Owners/Breeders and Casinos.

Nobody cares about owner accountability.

We are seeing it now. Taylor is the perfect example. It's not perfect, but it's progress IMO.

no but you can take my word for it Howard and Ford will be just fine.  Don't believe all the rhetoric between Howard and Ford you hear on here it's all nonsense.

I get the whole Taylor situation. He got banned from Gural. He had a license denied upon renewal (KY). He had another denied or suspended (I don't know which, DE). Not sure, but I might have read something about Indiana, and Canada as well. Not sure about the USTA. Regardless, he's got conflicts, on multiple fronts. What the hell does this have to do with Mark Ford? He's not being investigated, charged, or anything of the like.

Harness racing is not fine.

Not going to be fine.

Honest people have made a lawful investment, owners, horsemen, gamblers etc.

All you people look at a teeny tiny picture and that picture is within a sub world of the old boys club, friends with benefits, organized crimes, corruption, animal abuse etc.

Regulatory, a joke.

Crime and punishment, foughetaboutit.

There is that side and the correct side, go choose, but if you're bad in harness racing, we want to fuck up that life and that business.

These assholes if they are involved with organized crime, the mob, they have problems, the days of John Gotti are over, you brag you, you start pointing the finger at selective persecution - DONE!

Flouting their arrogance, send people here to fuck around, go to the media and pull that shit, go to the commissions and pull that shit, they all have a code, some of us FAFO!

Fatso and Weirdo are far from fucking fine.

I haven't even started yet.

Antagonize me!   ;D

All of this because a guy gets the boot from Goshen because he didn't like the track surface. But obviously there's more too that story.

But I don't understand why all of a sudden your in on the Ford crusade? What has Ford done to you? Or is it all part of the I have to he involved with everything I read that SCM types?

You obviously have no skin in the game. Because those are the ones who bark the most! If you did i guarantee you'd sing a lil  different tune! So, what has Taylor or Ford done to you? It can't be all their fault when you lose your 20 cent tri box.

9/09/26 A day of celebration!

Are you pro or against corruption in harness racing?

Simple as that.

You decide your priorities, I won't be doing that for you.

You won't be deciding mine.  ;D
