The winner of that final WDC heat is a converted pacer by Art Major who is 2 for 2 as a trotter and trained by the best trainer of trotters in the Southern Hemisphere in Phil Williamson who got a call from his Australian owner and trainer and said he had a pacer who could trot and he sent him over to NZ for him to train.

It is quite common down there to see The father and three Williamson sons who are all trainer drivers run in the same race
