Today's sale is where the #'s mean nothing. Forget about averages, medians, etc. The #'s are so distorted that they tell nothing about the marketplace. Broodmares and fillies-----the right ones-----sold very well. The garbage sold for garbage. As far as the racehorses, it's the very same market it's always been. The right product, quality product, for the most part, sells for a premium. At least IMO, LOL. There's always going to be a buy or two, something that might slip through the cracks, and so on. But for the most good horses sold for good prices, very good prices. Strong. Sellers market. More buyers, less buyers, doesn't matter, there's always buyers, and they pay. The racehorses that I had on my maybe list, all sold for strong money. I couldn't get a sniff of any of the fillies or mares, LOL.
