Some are buybacks/buyouts from the dispersal.

I believe buying out his longtime partner.

Yes. They are both continuing in the sport, just going their own way. They both bid on various horses, to the point they each wanted to.

The massive day pushed the overall Black Book Sale gross to $58,267,000, up nearly 10 per cent year-over-year, from 1,334 for an average of $43,678!

This might be the end of Tony if this horse wins HOY in '26 which many at the sale were predicting.

Interesting.  Horse raced on Tuesday in KY $100k which Burke won with Arturovico (whom he had bought earlier in the year).  Timmy T has driven Fallout all year, and has picked up a lot of drives from Burke; wonder if Timmy gave Burke a "push" on the horse (perhaps feeling certain changes could step him up??)

Overall, the two-day mixed sale totaled nearly $38.6 million, a record for the event, for 699 horses and stallion shares. The previous high, $31.6 million for 597 horses and stallion shares, was established last year. This year’s mixed sale average of $55,156 also was a record, bettering the $52,945 average established last year......overall the 5 days brought in substantial dough this year!

Yes, and his broodmares sold well. Being that Jules was not a commercial breeder, and bred to race, the families from his mares were not in the marketplace so to speak. So this is like the first opportunity that breeders had a chance to get not just his mares, but some of the families and pedigrees that he kept and raced for many years.
