Lived through John Lindsey, Abe Beame, and Ed Koch. To me, NYC is the best place on earth. Great cusine, museums, and people. I get down there every few months for a corned beef sandwich at Katz's. Geez.....I love that. Also some appetizing at Russ and Daughters on Orchard Street. May Dad, Rest In Peace was born on Broome Street. Now with the election a "sure thing", I hope for the best for the greatest city on earth.

Italians are the best, they put out various breads, sticks, crackers and spreads, garlic spreads, olive oil, antipasto before your fucking drink even comes i.e F&J Pine, La Viola...

Wolf's had a some kind of Bloody Mary concoction that worked for hangovers, and being that I was typically partying Friday night and working in the city outside on the weekend I needed it.

Zabars was good too for shopping bagels and stuff.  Most of the prices at the delis, kosher places is ridiculous...I can make any of that myself now and healthier and better tasting too.
