not great for the business. he is running regular people out of it.
they should just make it so there are 20 trainers in the country and if you want to own a horse you have to give it to one of the 20.
then you know how it works when you have lots of money. you can buy the best attorneys and fight suspensions and appeal them until you want. pretty much controls everything. Which is not how it supposed to be.  people are in love with the burke brigade. that's sounds so fucking dumb by the way.

brigade? that fat fuck has never been in the military. he is lucky if he graduated high school.

They used to say the same thing about other greats like Dancer, Haughton, The Yankees, The Celtics. Grow a pair, shut the fuck up and figure out a way to beat him.

enough of the crying about Burke

he is what he is

if you a bettor or a horseman-either stop crying, skip the race or figure out a way to beat him

having 18 threads going about whether he is good/bad for the sport is getting old

Burke & other trainers are pulling shoes more often. At Hoosier Chapercraz is listed no shoes. He then goes back to the paddock for hind shoes. People bet P4 & other wagers based on the earlier info. It turns out the horse gets scratched. In my opinion a late shoe change should be a scratch or banded from wagering.

Just curious, how does pulling shoes affect a horse?
