Crybaby Tim Carey of Hawthorne
« on: September 19, 2025, 07:12:31 AM »
Never seen or even heard of a grown ass man crying at an IRB meeting. Can you imagine Tom his uncle or Robert his grandfather bawling like a newborn in front of the board and other adults? No freaking way!
When are the cousins and other shareholders gonna dump this weakling.
Dave Mac said it was like watching a kid whose ma didn't buy him a GI Joe at ToysR US. Nothing is ever his fault neither.
well, it's game over here at Maywood. thanks johnny Johnston for giving us fans the shaft!

LucPark will know more but I heard it was pathetic.

2026 dates...

Harness 34 days

Flats .. Hawthoren and Fairmount each about 60 days. Each 2 days a week.

Tim Carey sobbing uncotrollably like a beaten baby seal.

Not sure I would call Hawthorne the best track in Chicagoland. For my money, Sportsman's in the 1970's and 80's was the better of the two harness tracks.

First it was a dog track.
Then 5/8 for horses.
Then 7/8 for horses.
Then 7/8 for cars.
Now just good memories!

Two harness tracks?
What about Maywood, Balmoral, Aurora, and Arlington Park.
Yes Arlington had a couple harness meets.

If you're so smart, who won the first harness parimutuel race at Arlington Park?

You got me there.
Good bet that I was there.
Another good bet that I sold the program from that night on Ebay  about 12 years ago.
A guess Banks, Busse, or Bird.
