Today "President Trump said federal regulators should revoke broadcast licenses over late-night hosts who speak negatively about him"

Let's call this what it plainly is .  It is Fascism and Trump is a wanna be Putin or Xi. Can anyone imagine Obama saying he wanted to revoke Fox's license for the non stop criticism they gave him.  Or Rush Limbaugh?

Trump does not care about the Constitution, first amendment, due process none of it.  He does not care about putting the military in the streets against it's own citizens.

Reagan would be cancelled today by the far right.  He represented almost nothing Trump represents.
I doubt he said that...

Trump: When you have a network and you have evening shows and all they do is hit Trump… They’re licensed. They’re not allowed to do that.

^^ That's exactly what he said. You want to split that hair? Go ahead...

it’s easy to verify if you care to find out.    Watch the video yourself. Then tell me again you don’t care’t believe he said that or if you agree with him.

Does Jimmy K own horses?  Is he a driver or a trainer?  Wrong forum for this, folks.

I think there are some here who don't understand. Kimmel, like asshole Kaepernick can voice their opinion as loud and as often as they want. However, they need to do it on their dime and not their employers. These big mouths need to reach into their own pocket and take out an ad in a newspaper, buy some time on TV or organize a rally/protest if they have a need to be heard.

"The FCC has the ability to investigate cases of “broadcast news distortion” based on viewer complaints. Its published policy says that FCC’s ability to rule against a broadcaster is narrow, and the incident “must involve a significant event and not merely a minor or incidental aspect of the news report” and there must be “a crucial distinction between deliberate distortion and mere inaccuracy or difference of opinion.” The FCC also notes that a broadcaster’s First Amendment rights “include, but are not limited to, a broadcaster’s selection and presentation of news or commentary.”

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said on the show."

That is what you call deliberate distortion.  Kimmel already knew that the murderer was leaning left, not right and was living with a man, transitioning from male to female.   Kimmel totally distorted what he knew to be the truth, characterizing the murderer as a MAGA supporter.

I like ya Mazola, but he was never silenced. He could have gone on you tube, started a podcast or whatever and said anything he wanted to. He was suspended by his employer which they have every right to do. I paint houses as most on here know. Mostly in the wealthy suburbs of Columbus.. which are extremely liberal. If I went to work and started preaching conservative propaganda to the homeowners and pissed them off, I'd be fired yesterday. So I guess I am censored as well because I have to listen to these people bash are President and conservatives, but cannot say a word. I have to pretend to agree with them.. which is sickening, but I value my job.
