I know some went to M1, what about the rest? Are there any tracks racing that cheap stock?
I'm sure they went to their class wherever. But no matter what there is always a place in Canada, there is never a more bottomless bottom of the barrel than those fucking dumps in Ontario!
I know a while back I was having conversations with a horseman from St John's, and the grandstand up there was the size of a barn, and the purses were for hundreds.
I'm afraid if I do bad things in this life when I die I might end up gambling at one of these hell holes for all eternity.I might have to become a nice guy

That's not nice, horses are better than all of the shit birds that work in that toilet. All you did with that remark was give us a craving, they go down easy and fly out the same.
In 2017 my friend came to visit me, and he wanted to go to Freehold. We went. The staff in the room we were in were extra friendly as was the parking attendant, but the racing product sucked. The last time I was at that track was many years before.
Very boring, and I used love a good matinee card. Guys like Cat would do double duty, now look at Jersey, 1 track 2 days a week, even Atlantic City racing is gone. Bring in good eats, entertainment and attract people - gambling, say no more, they fucked it all up.When you think of culture in racing, it's actually us, we're still here, keeping it and if gone, the memory alive.
