SPA Day XXXVI, Thursday, 8/28/25 & Kentucky Downs Opener
« on: August 28, 2025, 12:23:19 AM »
The SPA will be Fast and Firm, mid 70's, light breeze.  No hurdle race today, first race is at 1:10pm and an 11 race card there.

Kentucky Downs opener starts today, also expected to be Firm, high 70's - low 80's.  They are in Central Standard Time (CST).  First race there is 1:25pm EST and also an 11 race card running head with the SPA.

Last year KD averaged @ $1.2 mil in handle per race.  Big fields will mean big payouts.  Look for patterns!  tmbz1

Just 2 stakes races for moi today - the 7th at the SPA, and the 10th at KD. No harness or anything else.  A chill day, start to energize and get ahead for Fri-Mon's T-Bred / Harness racing.  Labor day is Monday.

Wishing Everyone Fun and Success and the Best of Luck at the Races Today!  ;D

She got lucky, made a great move then before she can straighten her horse out she goes left whip horse goes right and bye bye 7.  She'll be sat down for that too.  That inquiry took way too long too.  Bonehead bitch!

I got SPA race 7 studied and wagered.  #7 using with ALL also using with 358.

Now onto KD for their 10th.  Jose Ortiz there today representing the SPA boys with Saez and Rosario.

KD 10th - #7 and ALL and with 3 8 13 too.

Get to relax, already caught up on sleep and get ahead with racing going forward.   tmbz1

Life gives me lemons, I made lemon grenades and tossed them on my losing streak!   ngc3

This link is an accurate description of my betting today. No posts on here, was working with my boss.
3 pick 5's at the SPA totalling $384. I went 2 of 5, 1 of 5 and 1 of 5. Then two pick 5's at Indiana totalling $220.
I went 2 of 5 and 2 out of 5...and if that isn't putrid enough, I had a $160 loser at Kentucky Downs where I went 4 of 5 missing my single with Rosario on the 9 in race 6.and a losing $72 ticket at Del-Mar. So a $836 loss. Ouch.

Yeah del Mar is cooked.. I know better then to bet there but I did anyway. This one at Mohawk is shaping up good. 3rd choice race 1 and 5th choice race 2.. I've just been off the last 2 days..lots on my mind.  probably should not have been betting  the last few days. Tomorrow would of been my Dad's birthday.. he passed away last November from cancer.
