He is a very nice horse. But McClure is due for a horrible drive on him at any given race.

He won in 151 last night.. came away 5th pulled between the quarter and half following Jody's nice 2 year old. Cleared before the turn. Down the stretch McClure was like a statue in the sulky..except his head of course ngc3. The article that whiptherabbit posted is a good read. The horse won't leave Canada all year. OSS gold final, the metro, and the breeders crown.

I don’t think Jody’s colt can beat him but last night BM gave him no chance. Locked him in the pocket and never let him out.

That's correct, I'll give bobble credit , he stuck to the rail perfectly.. in the article he says driving that horse is like operating a robot. Effortless. The horse has never been asked yet.

McClure did the right thing--and moved to follow Jamiesons piece at the perfect time

in case Jody had more-he never would /could have been able to show it

having said that--the horse deserves a top driver

Agreed.. the article said that Roy was going to drive the horse originally, but he had a commitment at the Meadowlands the night of his first start. I bet he is sick about that. Bobble will probably drive him the rest of the year I would guess, since he will not leave Canada.

Jamieson is utilizing the same playbook on Tillthecowscomeho me as he did when they raced Santana Bluechip. Leave for position and ride the rail getting as much money behind a monster (SBSW)

The 2YOs are still developing! Look at Mr. Mamba last night at HP, 149.2!  I am looking forward to the Elevation Pace for 2YOs at HP on the 19th of September!  Frantic Hanover is eligible, so is Another C Note, Mamba and Richie from Indy!! That race will go a long ways toward sorting out some of the top tier 2YOs!

I sent a congrats in sound off here but it likely got buried.

Macomber acted like he didn't have a win shot which he didn't and couldn't get 2nd, what a fucking dick for lack of effort.

As far as I'm concerned, the Indiana Goats are RRD and Larry Bird.   ngc3

It's gonna be fun, no, when the competition steps up, now they pay you to qualify in stakes purses races.   ngc3

Clean their clock bro!   ;D

Obviously a nice colt. Talented. At this point, LOL. But he certainly looks like he has the potential makings. Moore is a very sharp horseman. Excellent track record of developing and campaigning young horses. He knows what he's doing. Even if this colt was staked to everything, Moore may have kept him home anyway. The Metro and the BC are two very big dances so he'll have his shot. The Gold is no cakewalk either. I like this colt. Big, but very efficient, very well gaited, gets over the ground well. I hope he keeps going forward, develops, matures, etc.

Eeeeeeeezeee. Didn't train, wins under wraps. Paddock time and getting ready for the Metro.

Doc Moore said in the interview.....the other horses in this division are all getting better now.....it'll tighten up as the year goes along, it always does.....
