(1) Back in me day. Basic was like that. DRAFTEEES and ENLISTED who came in and so otta shape. ME,I was luckey, ME be in shape. My brother-in law was a former MARINE and when I went in he told me what to expect. I'ss member one most important thin he said: Never fall for any DRILLS BULLSHIT. No matter who you are: They gonna spit on ya,slap you in face, scream non-stop in your face,ask you questions and try not to fuc up. Hold your ground if you fuc up and don't ever show a tear,that will be the ruination of you. They's tryin to break you down. So no matter whoot happen,just stand firm.

So's I've posted this before: My DRILL was on the nicer side of rough. Others were absoultly BRUTAL. Me DRILL lived off base and would come in at 5 AM. I real asshole one lived in the first floor in a room in meessess platoon, but he was head of another platoon. This FUC was the biggest POS on PLANET. First payday on a SATURYDAY at noon and everyone lines up to collect their $92.00 for a month. You got the rest of afternoon off and SUNDAY. Got no where to go anyhow,as you can't leave company area. So,a lot like me took our $92.00 bucks and locked it in our foot locker. Others just left in in their fatique pants hangin next to bunk. 2AM Saturday night and JOHN FRANK ARMY never slept in BASIC. NO. HE did not smuggle WHITES into the joint,never even knew what they be at time. So,I'm on upper bunk and fakin sleepin as DRILL BOY comes pilherin pockets. This FUC went from first to second floor,not only in meessess platoon but all 10. MADE A FORTUNE. MONDAY mornin at 5AM formation,soldiers were complainin about theifs amonst the ranks. The COMPANY COMMANDER and he only a CAPYAIN goes. It's up to you to find the theif,like it a recruite. And then he goes: THere a lesson to be learned here. LOCK you money up or have it invested in US BONDS and this will not happen. They all made a fortune the thiefs,includin COMPANY COMMANDER on that first pay day. And yoooossseeees all wonder from the start why JOHN FRANK ARMY became very suspiuocios of OFFICERS and went on to DEFY them.. TOO BBEE COOONNTINUUED.... .

You get in shape pretty fast when they dole out pushups as punishment, 50 or 100 at a time. Plus, at 18 most guys were in decent shape to start with.

Were back to BASIC and those that have a diffucule time makin it thru. Soeess after the 3rd week of BASIC,each plattoon drill can give one guy a reward for performin the best. He gives a pass from 12 NOON SATURDAY,till 6PM SUNDAY to leave the company area and go wherever one want's. That could be to bars in COLUMBIA,SOUTH CAROLINA or just anywhere on base. Everyone else is stuck in COMPANY area. IN MEEESSES PLATOON, I got the pass every week. One week me DRILL goes. WHY the FUC are you not usin it. I say's to him. I appreciate you givin it to me,but I am not showin up me BUDS when they can not go anywhere. But I told him. Don't worry: I hit the CANTEEN and store for them and bring back whatever they ordered and I went meself and bought a COLORIZED POLOLROID and takin pictures of everyone so they can send them to PARENTS,WIFES,GIRLFRIENDS, or whoever. But me was chargin: $1.00 per picture. TOOOOO BE CONTINUED.....

SOOES me DRILL say's to JOHN FRANK ARMY. I neeeddds a favor. FOGELMAN is very weak. Your tellin me. There is always every time in BASIC competition for bein the BEST,amongnst platoons in each company. He goes: CAN YOU HELP HIM. I goes,WHY ME. HE goes YOUR THE BEST. I want you every night after every thin done and weekends to put him on sit up and push=up bar and the parreeelel bars. And jog him around the company perimeters. And I told him: What else do I have to do. You got it. And we WON the CHAMPIONSHINSHIP. And RONNIE FOGELMAN made it thru BASIC.
TATOOO would say: THAT POS should not be in ARMY. Neither should you,YOU POS.

So know it a great time. Everyone has made it thru BASIC and just one week to go. It a great time. But the DRILLS still have one trick up their sleeeve.
They throws a COMPANY PICNIC for everyone. OH it was GREAT. And they were great. It paid by them. Maybe from that first stolen payday. BOOZE like one can not believe. HELP YOURSELF. I did not drink but just took pictures and still have them. Tons of guys just passed out on ground. It was amazin. The DRILLS lied again and said,don't worry. Were givin all you FUCS the day off tomorrow. YA sure. 5AM formation and half the company is still layin in bed. COMMANDER goes: GET THESE QUEER FUCS out here. And again,when everyone has eventually stumbled out,HE GOES. Where goin on a 5 mile RUN. OH my GOD. Not AGAIN. Everyone stummplin and PUKIN. WERE IN THE ARMY,was that POS TATOO,EVER.

One last thin I gotta say. It GRADUATION DAY and parade and you ship out after. JOHN FRANK ARMY had overnight watch in COMPANY COMMAND OFFICE. Me I had to stay awake i there was a phone call or if a officer was comin in to the joint. But,the job was really to wake up the NCO who there also,who in CHARGE but slept the night away. So in the mornin,JOHN FRANK ARMY, say's to him the supply seagent. I knew him. Told him: Don't feel like havin me rifle inspected and cleanin it and sure don't want to march in a CLOWN parade. HE GOES: I gottcha. Go get your rifle and give it to me. I'M puttin ya on laundry detail. Take your duffel and just line it up for departure. That DRILL got the INFO. He went were me DUFFEL was the only one standin. Cut me lock to steal me POLOROID. ARMY was ROUGH. GLAD me still LIVIN. HOW BOUT YOU TATOOO. Nice that YOU can BRYLCREAM and know tell others what must be done. Member when your MOMMY went what a POS you are. Know MOMMY LOVES YOU,MAJOR.

Married and got DRAFTED. We got DRAFTED togeather. We went togeather for the 2 weeks before one assigned to a company. I told you all about goin and listinin and re-uppin. He was sittin next to me and he goin: I'M married know and maybe I should. I told him,don't listen to this BULLSHIT. Stick with me and we gonna do 2 and no more. And he did. He was one of the 7 like me who had to go out and have the shit kicked out of us. He not have to visit.DRACULA,however. So we in same company,but different platoons. He not in good shape although he the STAR Q-B in high school. He in that BRICKS platoon. So's we talks. He not doin good. So that PRICK DRILL tells those in his squad to give him a BLANKET PARTY. He gets pummeled. O not HAPPY,with those that participatyed and also the DRILL. So the DRILL not satisified. So the DRILL takes my BUD out in the WOODS,with his second and beats the fuc out of him. KNOW,JOHN FRANK ARMY definatly UPSET. I goes to me DRILL: Tells him. I want you to set up me mettin this FUC in thee woods. I'M goin beat the livin FUC out of HIM. My DRILL goes.
