Over/Under
« on: July 22, 2025, 02:58:58 PM »
Since harness racing bettors are used to dealing with odds, what are the odds that trump makes it to the end of his 2nd term?  Prominent bookmaker William Hill of the UK already set those odds back in November.  He gave trump a 71.4% chance of doing so (2/5 if you are betting on it).

However, those odds were 8 months before trump's recent medical issues came to light.  The odds have changed since then.  There are 30 months left in trump's term.  Instead of betting on whether he makes it to the finish line, let's use an over/under for the number of months he lasts.  I'm setting the O/U at 18 months.  Which way are you betting?

Just think about it, we are one little blood clot away from being rid of this despicable and disgusting (being generous now) human being!

Oops, I left off a year.  Wishful thinking.  The O/U still stands at 18!

I don't think Trump finishes the term.

At some point he will proclaim that he has Made America Great Again, completed his God given mission and RETIRE.

Vance is the darling of the Religious Right and that segment will re-assert dominance over the party as MAGA enthusiasm wanes.

Vance will get to run as an incumbent, a big advantage.

2028 could be a landslide because the Democratic Party has no viable candidates who can win.

Among the many offerings you can get offshore is Trump to not finish his term at +170    and to be impeached yes =100 and no -140

It is hard to believe the Dems have spiralled so far out of control.  Every blue state is fucked up in so many ways and none have a leader with a clue or a practical workable escape plan.  Where is JFK, FDR or even Hairy Ass Truman when you need them?

Trump will finish the term.. 2028 election will be Vance or Rubio vs Gavin Newsome or Josh Shapiro.. close election like they all are... but the original post was wretched. Wrong amount of months and wishing the current President to be dead. What a dipshit.

Do good by us, Make America Healthier, Heal Quicker, Live Longer, Make it's Diseases go away too.

Don't get us killed for nothing.

I damn know how to lose money, so I must know how to make it so that's on me.  Taking caring of the family, on me.

I like to feel I trust the people that work for me, he works for you too, whether you asked for it or not, so I'm not going to be up his ass daily like a colonoscopy.

Otherwise, I don't give a fucking shit about this bullshit, because if I did and I talked about him non stop he'll out live me, which is fine, but I'd like another 5 years.

10 years, the center of the Universe, 3 days no talk of the POTUS, well it's official, we all have TDS!   ;D

The problem with this wager is that his second term won't end as per usual. He'll invent an excuse to not hold elections and stay on. He'll die in office somewhere between 2026 and 2030, probably at the hands of others.
