Skolnick whole case relies on the board members not disclosing knowing or dealing with Gural. Is there anyone in harness racing that doesn’t know who Jeff Gural is?
At least seven Board members had undisclosed financial or professional relationships with
Gural or his entities at the time of the vote:
• Julie Miller trained horses for Gural and, through Andy Miller Stable, Inc., co-owned
horses with Gural’s company, Little E, LLC. She did not disclose these relationships to the
Board. (Id. ¶¶ 13–35).
• Michael Gulotta holds a minority ownership interest in NMR and co-owned horses with
Gural through Deo Volente Farms. He made the motion to approve the $200,000 payment.
(Id. ¶¶ 36–43).
• Anthony Perretti has known Gural for over 30 years. He owned Perretti Farms and
currently owns Perretti Farm & Bloodstock, LLC. He has done business with Gural through
both entities. (Id. ¶¶ 44–51).
• Mark Mullen co-owned a horse with Gural in 2021 when this dispute began and did not
disclose this interest to the Board. (Id. ¶¶ 52–59).
• Linda Toscano had prior business dealings with Gural as a trainer and co-owner of horses.
She acknowledged his power to ban individuals from the Meadowlands at will, which
could cause substantial financial harm. (Id. ¶¶ 60–74).

• Yannick Gringas, a driver sponsored by NMR and a NMR member, also failed to disclose
any of these affiliations to the Board. (Id. ¶¶ 75–81).
• Mark Ford owns a farm in Middletown, New York. He rents space and housing to horse
trainers. At least one of these trainers was banned from the Meadowlands by Gural due to
horses testing positive for illicit drugs. (Id. ¶¶ 91–107). According to SBOANJ Board
President, Ford every time Gural saw Ford during this period Gural would remind him of
his draconian drug policies, threatening that Ford’s career could be unilaterally injured by
Gural if he did not comply with Gural’s demands that the SBOANJ pay the $200,000
