Whip: Kind of embarrassing but with all these elims for different races I lost track of who vs who.
After you said that I realized it was Chris' horse vs. Chantilly. I'm with you and I hope we're right.
Best not to be bet against Ryder with fillies. Should be a Classic though hopefully!  tmbz1

Wow, that Beaton horse just blew the doors off the field as the front end collapsed the last 150 yards

Aptly named at least for tonight, 'Lite Up The World!! Shot out of a cannon!
Beaton-JMac. Clearly stamped himself as the one to beat and I haven't seen
the last elim. yet. In a word: IMPRESSIVE.

Lucpark, I'd be pissed at that drive as well.

Got away nice 4th, but get out first over if you have to.  It may not be the perfect trip, but once you are trapped on the rail, it's all over.   You get shuffled back and all you can hope for is a miracle on the rail.

Anyone using TT is about two years late, just like all before him he's losing the battle to father time. No shame there, it happens to all of them but to use him anywhere outside of Dover for a big race is a bad business decision. Hope he doesn't stick you with travel costs but we all know what those drivers are like. Long season LucPark, I sincerely hope you get some better drives and trip out to a nice payday or two.

Where’s Middleton?

Ken suffered a serious injury is a training accident awhile ago--came back as announcer ...now i hear he is mainly concentrating on training and breeding his horses--a great guy

i feel Rozema is a decent race caller--always gets bashed here--of course as not as good as Ken

the big loss is Robert Reid not doing the Horseplayers Journal--he was excellent

Barnet Garnsdale(as the late FATBOY would call him)...I think he sucks

Anyone know why Reid isn’t doing horseplayers journal now? As far as Barnsdale goes, not even worth the read. Best bets are 2/5 etc. they should find someone who can do a good job with that write up, it’s a big part of reading the program.

I heard this story 6 mo ago.  How long does it take to learn to be a judge?  Methinks something else may be amiss.

As long as I have the podium, I disagree with our esteemed rodent.  I think Barnsdale is a good handicapper who gives out decent priced winners fairly often.

Rallis is very astute and observant.  Gives out solid stuff.  Also somewhat careless with the English language which will be obvious to anyone who reads him regularly.  Would benefit greatly from a proofreader.

OK, so he's no Salive yet, but Rozema is a solid announcer and continues to improve.    Too bad Ken can't announce and train both.  He's obviously much better at one of those chores.
