The Weekly USTA FAS Report
« on: May 30, 2025, 11:55:03 AM »
If you can't laugh at that weekly fines and suspension list, you need to check if you have a pulse. What a fucking disgrace harness racing has become. If you don't think HISA is needed IMMEDIATELY, you are part of the problem.

Holy Shit, look at the fines for her.

I read through that quickly. I assume that the fines are for purse money won that she has to give back.

Anyway, FAFO, I guess

It's great that finally they are acting on all this bullshit.

Part of the USTAs new marketing initiative. Look at all the crooks! Not counting those who are officers of the USTA who are involved in the Fed BB3 scandal!!!  ngc3
Now the question is, just how far do I want to go with this???

Seems like USTA cares a whole lot more about beard owners than beard trainers........

I say just add a "B" next to the beard trainers on the program and call it a handicapping angle . ngc3

Good article in the most recent Hoof Beats magazine about how many smaller t-bred venues will shut down since HISA came along.  They simply cannot afford the testing costs.  Hopefully, harness racing will not come under HISA.  I would say the standardbred industry has seen the writing on the wall finally and has decided they better get their shit in gear to thwart HISA which will destroy racing-mark my word.  Glad to see the USTA is getting tough.  It's about time.

Hoof Beats is owned by the USTA. Of course the article is going to bash HISA and create fear if it  begins to govern Harness Racing. I don't trust the USTA at all.

Mike, I agree that HISA might be a better "governing body" than the USTA.
