Plop seems to have several deflectors on everything MP says or uncovers.
Deflecting worked for OJ but in this case evidence seems pretty clear cut. Sadly, IMO the sport is too damaged for it to make a difference. He has clear cut evidence connecting dots, etc and people answer that with how many screen names the guy has or stuff about his personal life.
I’ve been a harness racing fan over 50 years. I could accept cheating when it was in the form of certain guys that kept horses in certain conditions to not have them go from C3 to B1 for example, but I can’t accept the drugging and beard thing.
I think it’s because it’s more thrown in your face now with a high degree of arrogance.

not sure what the point of this was but glad to see that nobody paid up for these drug enhanced horses
now see that gillis has 3 for sale, dont bid on these horses, let him keep them and figure out what to do with them or see if they can race with less bb3 in their system

there really should be a rule that when a trainer gets suspended the horse also gets suspended for a period of time(6-8, weeks something like that)
the only way to avoid the horse suspension is if the horse is truly sold with a proper invoice and receipt/proof of payment to ensure the funds are traced to each individual's income for tax purposes etc

this would prevent owners from simply transferring the horse to another trainer

this would also encourage people like gillis and ford to actually really sell their horses

currently its a joke

The reality is that all these policies could easily be implemented. I would go as far as having a condition that allows a suspended trainer’s books to be audited at anytime. In addition, I would have people that inspect the farms to insure that a horse has physically been moved to a non suspended trainer’s.barn.
