I agree that junk food should not be purchased via Food stamps. It does not matter if you think President Trump is fat or not, nor does it matter what he eats. As he does not utilize Food Stamps to purchase his food.
As it stands currently, the only thing not allowed to be purchased on FS, is hot prepared foods.
Energy drinks, soda, candy, etc is not going to give anyone a balanced diet.

SwankToliverA.... .the Food Stamp program is essential to feeding the poor. I agree that junk food like soda, chips, and candy should not be allowed under the Federal program. As well as the already prohibited tobacco and liquer products. The unhealthy foods which fuel obesity and childhood diseases should not be subsidized by our government. I was never a fan of the race baiting, Jew hating, Cop hating, Barack Obama and his wife. But the First Lady was right about one thing. The school lunches, laden with sugar, salt, and carbs were very unhealthy for our children. We should be educating our young people to "eat healthy" so they may live longer and enjoy their lives more.
