HA HA HA HA, you got that right about floating and swimming.
In boot camp we had to learn to float on each piece of our uniform, even the hat.
The pants were the best but it's difficult to remove your pants while you are in water. We tied the bottoms of the legs and then brought them up over our head to fill them with air and then the 2 legs would be blown up and we would get in between the 2 blown up legs and use them like a flotation device.

I hope this canoe is sinking in fresh water, I don't want to be shark bait.
