M1 is still the BEST the industry has to offer. No other harness track can hold a candle to the M1 overall product and experience.
Times are tough in harness right now so we simply must live with lower level races to fill 14 race cards. I may be in the minority but I find that these lower level and amateur races are awesome to wager on.

Meadowlands probably have 10 really good cards during the entire meet tops, the rest of the time is mediocre to bad racing with too many amateur races. Just because the top drivers are there doesn't mean their product is what it used to be because it isn't.

It's an embarrassment that only 2 of the regular drivers are showing up just for a couple of drives. The others are either at Yonkers, drove during the day at Chester or took the night off. Yogi Sheridan has more drives than Zeron and Miller do. There are 4 amateur races and some also have drives in other races too.

100% correct. I’ll pass on this shit. The quarter horses at Remington are much more exciting and better to bet on.
Also, for tonight, the place will be packed with Knicks fans betting big vs Celtics. No racing fans.

The purpose of racing there IS TO GET A CASINO.

That is correct and it’s a futile attempt. They won’t EVER get a casino at that location.

During the winter it's one thing,  but with the good horses qualified now what's the excuse?

The racing product at the Meadowlands is simply poor right now. Compare it to other tracks and say it's better, worse, whatever. It doesn't matter. If you like it better, then play. If you don't, then don't. For me, what I am looking for as a bettor, it's poor. As a fan, it's also poor, as a whole.

Other than you nobody gives a shit if the guy posts under a different name. You’re probably wrong too. The fact is The Meadowlands sucks. The building is very uncomfortable. The food at the Restaurant is terrible. It’s an awful place to go to and the racing is shit too.

tmbz1   I agree. And the amateur racing brings lots of new fans to the sport.
