Yes. Then he brags when they win.  ngc3 ngc3

Back in the old days when a horse was 3-5, he was close to a lock. Today those same 3-5 shots go off at 1-9 and not all of them win.

rebates are the reason for this

Even with the rebates, you'd be better off if your horse paid $3.20 and not $2.20. Place and show holes on heavy favorites are almost always crushed too. If there's a minus show pool, I doubt they're getting any rebates.

rebates have slaughtered the regular player--but the overall handle masks this fact--and dumb bettors cannot see this

its been about 25 years now

agree--they are not rebating minus pools

The guy doing the paddock interviews knows nothing about harness racing and you can see most drivers are laughing at him under their breath because his questions are stupid. John Rallis was good at the job because he understands harness racing and the drivers respected him. Guess he decided to stay at Mohawk full time instead of working for Jeff Gurals' peanuts.

This site is silly.

He's a young kid. We need more young people, who love the sport involved. He did a good job calling some races at Freehold and is now trying a new aspect in the paddock. John Rallis is very good and knowledgeable for sure. I applaud anyone in their 20s and early 30s with passion to be involved with the sport...otherwise it will die.

I know he's a young kid but you're interviewing the top drivers at the top track so someone more experienced and knowledgeable should be doing the job, because you get nothing out of the interviews, just my opinion.

I think Hollywood works at Hoosier, plus Gural fired him when he worked at Meadowlands, not sure why.

Heydan wouldn't work for minimum wage that's why he left M1

he could remember who was 3rd over in race 5 on a wednesday in January 1979--but said too many dumb things on the air--way over rated and quite full of himself

he does work part time at Hoosier on big night(s)

his interviews were below average also

He’s a complete narcissist, always having to show off his 50 year old memorabilia that nobody gives a shit about.

  • Sweet: Click on "My Messages", if you send someone a message click the box - "Save a copy in my outbox" and that will remain in your "Sent" folder.  No "Draft" feature but you could just send yourself what yo want to save like a book.
