Whats up with the one time Northfield king.. i recall couple years ago he was expanding to NY Primarily yonkers and now I hear a rumor he's selling everything and getting out of the business. Anyone know why?  Also I've noticed his stats have severly dropped.

Easy to speculate so why not? I would think the diminished success and departure
could both be from the potential 'heat' that has been on. One of those guys that
stuck out during his run. Viewed by pretty much everyone as an obvious juicer. GREED

Met him at Northfield through Craig Stein. He was out of the business for a few years and then got back in. I think his wife is a vet. Spent some time at Yonkers and then headed home. He stepped in up a few years ago and he shoots pretty well. Got a serious positive (I forget for what) and took a one year hit. I think they eventually offered him a deal, 60 days or something, but I don't remember how that ended up. I don't follow him or stay in touch so I have no idea what's going on with him, whether he's leaving the business or not, etc.

He got one of the Meth positive, his and McGinnis and Hagerman were all dismissed, but he’s went broke and that’s why he’s out

I'll respond once. I do not have a love for this game any more and to be successful you must love what you do. There is entirely too much hate and people with an iphone posting under made up names posting opinions like they are someone  irrelevant. I'm also sick i dont care if you guys wish death on me have at it, none of you know me and what you know or think you know is by someone filled with jealousy or hate for me . I'm going to worry about myself for awhile. The positive was dismissed because it was complete nonsense. I am opening a haunted house in downtown Cleveland. This is all I will respond with. If you have other questions ask them after you post your real name✌️

Heard the positive tests that supposedly got swept, the meth ones  , were actually  from Carmoterol like the rash of hot tests in Texas quarter horses.

I've done more good for horses between rescue and retirement than  You could imagine probablymore than any single trainer or owner in this business. Once again because some loser who lives in a tackroom that all of you trash for a few years now creates this grand lie now your opinion of me is a horse killing pos. Proves my point. Hypocrites! Trash the guy but yet feed on every word he says when Most of the time everything is exaggerated or completely false. So Mike Campbell say whatever you want about me, you do not know me at all or anything truthful about me apparently just a story a guy whos mad at life created. But if it makes you feel better about yourself to come here and post that then good for you I pity you that you have to come trash people on a useless forum while being misinformed.

That backroom mutt has 0 respectability, 0 pull, actually he's a complete Zero.

No one takes what he says as more than fiction from a tangled mind.
It's a great game, if you have the means to play

It doesn't hold weight when people are only doing something out of spite, after being kicked out & having nowhere to go.

Appreciate the reply.   I can agree with not loving the business as much anymore. It has changed and isn't fun

Yup, I agree. There's too many mutts with a live recorder in their pocket.

There are those who do good, without needing all the hoopla "look at me" videos.
The people always blowing their own horn, it always seems like an ulterior motive.

Here's an idea: Take Merriman with you and put him behind the wheel of a simulated car.
I know that would scare the hell out of me. ;D
