Anyone know legit facts of why he's off?
And if it's until he's fit to drive whats that mean?

Chances are they will never say if he has been taken off and not just a call off tonight.
Probably have to wait till Sat. and see if he drives. If he's off, I think it'll go without
saying why.

We actually might know more info tomorrow because he is listed at The Meadows, although each track or state can have its own decisions.

I am never surprised what a drunk person does, says, etc. To me it's not a shock factor. It's the sad factor because it's reflective of the disease. His thinking, actions, behavior, whatever, all of it, has become polluted. Completely. Rock bottom. If he hits it, maybe he'll seek help.

Will horseplop poster samstar continue to use this piece of garbage?  So many strong opinions on erv, would love to hear his thoughts on this one.  Merriman is an embarrassment to harness racing, and that’s saying something!

Adding insult to injury with this is that his occupational job of choice is driving horses!!  You have to stay sober whether driving your car  and driving a horse. Tough to get the benefit of the doubt when you have to pass a breathalyzer for your job too!!

Just listened to it, what a piece of shit.  Arrogant fucking entitled asshole.

FYI, the infamous MP posted it on facebook----Owner's , Trainer's , and Driver's in the Harness Racing Sport !!!

FYI, I know there are many people who don't like facebook and that is fine.  However, it is another large media site that people use.

Is it right at this was posted?

There are a few difference of opinions on facebook.

Judge for yourselves if this was right or wrong to do.

The Ohio State Racing Commission stopped Aaron from driving.  Turn out Mark St. Louis posted the audio on social media and the commission heard him saying he's handicapped and has vertigo.  So they decided that isn't the kind of person we need on the track it might be dangerous and took him off his drives.  Then the Meadows said that sounds like a good idea and told him he cant race there Thursday until they get a doctor to clear him.  Aaron then has went on a tyraid like the one in the audio of the DWI telling everyone he was going to sue them for not letting him race.  I guess we will have to wait and see.

Whats really alarming is how he drives practically 7 days a week and can be plastered like this at 230am and more than likely be driving horses in 10 hours
