Burke is at The Meadows most of the time but rarely attends the races there. Nancy seems to be at the track when most of her horses are running.

They are at every race that would now be considered G1…unless multiple at different locations.  Other than that it’s a fairly low percentage for the big barns unless it’s very close to where they are stabled.

They need to make rule that if Grade one the real trainer must be there.  None of this second trainer bullshit.

I can't speak to Ron Burke, however, in my experience, most trainers are at the track when they race a horse, but I am sure it's a case by case basis. Do they have horses racing at other tracks, where do they live, how far, etc., and maybe not for a 10 claimer on Tuesday night, LOL. Personally, from a regulatory standpoint, I couldn't give a rat's a$$ if the trainer is there or not AS LONG AS the trainer responsibility rule stands and the head trainer is responsible. If a trainer doesn't show, he/she is still held accountable. What a trainer does operationally should not change the trainer responsibility rule. Period.
