Los Al, Hollywood Park, Syracuse Mile. Hard to pick, the list is long. Thought about good times and great racing, would agree to all the picks.

Didn't start Erie Downs, Started as Commodore Downs TBreds opened in 73 lasted till 83, renamed Lakeshore Meadows in 84, Harness racing was done in 86, renamed Erie Downs for return to T Breds. Closed for good in 88. It's an industrial park now, Rt. 90 goes right by it.

  • Calhoun: Trigger, $25k/$500per week. Sounds great. IMO, you have 2 best options. 1) 100% of play on certain CarryOvers.  Pick-5 Carryovers are best. Pro is Near EV or +EV. Con is it's a ton of work in 1 day at worst or 3/4 days at best. But $500 gets you a lot of coverage. ..2) Focus 100% on one track, WITHOUT a lot of ship Ins. Woodbine, Remington, SoCal and Texas fit. WDB and Rem closed/closing. Whichever you choose, you need to know every single horse. You MUST have access to workout videos. You need to learn trainers. Good Luck

  • Trigger: If the lighting bulbs at Plop seems just a tad dimmer, let's welcome back Cashout from his 3 day hiatus.  He has every right to post here, dim bulb or not.  ngc3  Be patient, your eyes will adjust!   ngc3

  • Trigger: Dear Sakit & Chihuahua Cock aka Darnoldrocks, please choose a nationality today, your propoganda will still stink, but really decide if you are Canadian or American.  One lane of Plop bs, not 2 please! ;D

  • Trigger: In 26' I'll make the budget $25k, $500 race avg, 50 races / situations i.e. p5 etc.  I ain't betting anything until I'm really warm and fuzzy.
